Hello, My RC research centers on Robert MARTIN (b. abt 1755, d. 1822) son of Hugh MARTIN and Jane HUNTER and brother to Gov. Alexander MARTIN and Col. James MARTIN. His wife was named Martha, and we believe that she was either a DENNY or a DRENNAN/DRANNEN. I sure could use some help with this. Thank you, Jeanie Smith Zadach Savannah, Georgia

I am forward this to the list. If you have info on the person below, please contact Stephen and NOT ME. :) thanks!! From: sndesq@erols.com (Stephen Neal Dennis) Date: Tue, Aug 17, 1999, 6:03pm Subject: Azariah Graves Morton I am interested in Azariah Graves Morton, who left Rockingham County to move to Chattooga County, Georgia about 1855. A. G. Morton had been born in Caswell County. I have the autograph album of his daughter "Fannie" Morton Graham Neal, whose first husband was Dr. Benjamin Franklin Graham of Alamance County, who also lived at Kelvin Grove in Wake County and at Cedar Grove in Orange County. Connected lines in Caswell County include Turner, Martin, and Cantrell. According to the Agricultural Census for Rockingham County in 1850, A. G. Morton owned 300 acres of improved land and 1,400 acres of unimproved land. Stephen Neal Dennis

I am trying to locate the family of Elizabeth MITCHELL b ? 1780/1790. She married John RUSSELL born 1784 of Rockingham, North Carolina about 1807. They had four of their 11 children in North Carolina befor migrating to Floyd, County Indiana. Their first daughter was Sarah b. abt 1809 NC. It thought they may have been related to other MITCHELLS who came to Indiana from Kentucky such as George D. MITCHELL b. 1813.
