I am researching my gggrandmother, Jane Paul (b. c1796, d. c1817), who was 1st wife of James Miller and lived in Chester, SC. Their dau., Jennett(e) W. Miller m. William Boyd in Chester Co. I believe that Jane Paul's father was William Paul who may have had roots in Robeson Co., (since it just across the state line from Chester Co.) and that William was the son of William or Abraham Paul.
