In case their is interest, I'll share Regan records that connect to one of my grandmothers in Bladen County. Following is a summary of what I have gathered: Joseph married Anna (unknown) had child Ralph in 1736. Ralph born 1736 in Bladen Co. married Ann Millicent (unknown) abt 1768. They had child Martha abt 1774. Martha married Thomas Hester (born 1778) before 1800 in Robeson Co. Martha died in 1844 in MS. One of their children was named Daniel Thomas Hester born Feb. 1816. Daniel Thomas married Sarah Lewis in Bladen County 15 Nov 1874 by Reverend Robt. Sessoms -------------their first child, however, is recorded as being born in 1845 and last child born in 1862. I have no explanation or other information to explain why their wedding date seems out of sync. Maybe it was a second marriage for one or the other. Or, maybe they waited until they were sure. Or, maybe someone just gave me incorrect information. Sorry cannot verify the marriage date. > [Original Message] > From: Sam West <sam.west.1@gmail.com> > To: <ncrobeso@rootsweb.com> > Date: 10/17/06 7:45:33 PM > Subject: Re: [NCROBESO] Regan Family > > Michael, > > Here is another Regan Connection.
