Hi Steve, Some of the early Pauls in both counties had the same names, but as of yet I have not found a connection between the two. Carlene had sent me some information on your John Paul. I have no proof because I have not worked on the Craven Co NC Pauls, but if your John married in Craven Co NC, then I think that he was most likely from that group of Pauls.
