Daniel MCLEOD was born in Scotland ca 1781 and died in Lowndes Co., GA about 1884. In NC Daniel married Nancy UNKNOWN who was born in NC ca 1787. (Nancy was about ten years older than Daniel). Daniel and Nancy were in SC by 1810 and were enumerated in GA by 1840. Would like to correspond with anyone having knowledge of this family. In particular I would like to know Daniel's port of entry into the US and his place of birth in Scotland. I would like to know Nancy's maiden name and names of her parents. If anyone connects to this family, I have lots of information on them when in GA. Any information useful.
