Wayne, Bless your heart! You found the ones I was looking for! Hattie and Neill at Mt. Moriah are my great-grandparents that I couldn't find. I probably have all the remaining McKellars listed in Mary Lewis' book on her ancestors so there's really no need for you to go to any more trouble. Her grandmother was Hattie's sister but she had no information on Hattie's descendants until I contacted her. I'm sure she will be just as excited as I am to hear this news. I really, really, really want a set of those books. I emailed the author but haven't heard anything back yet on how to get a set. I'm beating my head against the wall for the McLeans in my family. Do you know how many John McLeans have lived in Robeson County with family members named Catherine, Mary, Flora, Malcolm, or Alexander? I think all of them and there have been the proverbial pot load of John McLeans. Thank you so much for your time. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it. I wasn't able to find any of the families you were looking for at Alloway in the few listings I found in a book but I will still continue to keep my eyes open for you. Happy Holidays!
