    3. I appreciate this, I had found the listing for Thomas Brown, Sr. and sons, but had failed to list the neighbors. I think that the Col. Thomas Brown is a different person. He lived in Bladen on the Cape Fear River and Brown Marsh Church area. Our Thomas and Edmund Brown lived down near the SC line in present day Robeson Co. That is one of the most confusing things, the fact that there appears to have been at least 3 Thomas Browns in the county at this time. I seem to recall that Loyalists of NC mentions a Thomas Brown who was hung by Tories. Does anyone know anything about him?
