Steve, Is the 1755 Cumberland Tax List available on the web? I haven't been able to find it. I'm looking for Thomas Brown (not the Gen.) and Edmund Brown who later appeared in Bladen/Robeson. As of today, yes. I sent a notice to the Robeson list about it. go to my site, www.capefearclans.com, and click 'Latest Updates' in the navigation bar on the left and you'll see the two lists' links at the top of the page that comes up. But read the text that accompanies the two links. jkbrown2@knology.net wrote: >Steve, > >Is the 1755 Cumberland Tax List available on the web? I haven't been able to find it. Does anyone have a Richard Brown (probably Robeson County) in their database? I am searching for Richard Brown who is listed in Robeson marriage records as having bond to marry Effy McDougald on March 1, 1805. ...or parents or siblings of Effy McDougald (or any information on her)?
