I am looking for any additional information on NORMAN MORRISON (and wife Christian Gillis?) who was born in Scotland and died between 5 March 1829 and May 1829. Scotland A Norman Morrison received a land patent for two hundred acres in Bladen County, North Carolina (Now Robeson) in March 1775. He apparently sold this land prior to or during the Revolutionary War to a neighbor, Daniel McLean. Norman Morrison repurchased 159 acres of this original tract on Wilkersons Swamp. Was this Norman Morrison a British Loyalist, and did he return to Scotland during or at the end of the Revolutionary War before coming back to North Carolina? 5 Jan 1803 Daniel McLean to Norman Morrison, both of Robeson Co., NC -This land bordered the lines of Abraham Pauls and Daniel McLeans line. In this same deed, Norman Morrison also received 140 acres northeast of Wilkersons Swamp near John McLeans line and also John McKinnons line.
