Debra, Thank you very much for your reply and all the information on James B. Sealy/Sealey and Mary Etta/Marietta Walters. When I realized James had a son named James Arren, it should have been obvious to me that the child was probably named after Arren Walters. I did not find a census with Marietta listed in the Arren Walters' household, so I decided she was probably the daughter of another Walters family. James B. was the son of Moore T. Sealy who was a brother of Nancy Caroline Sealy - the wife of Arren Walters. Therefore, Marietta and James B. were first cousins. That is new information for me. I believe I saw something in the library at Lumberton where someone left 40 acres of land to James B. Sealy in their will. I wondered why. Maybe it was Arren Walters. That would be understandable. I really appreciate your help!
