There were other colonies which you can locate on a good map for 1835 Texas on Texas Genweb site. 7 - Following counties in Texas, USGenweb sites for Angelina, Jefferson, Nacogdoches, Orange, Washington Cos. 8 - USGenweb sites for Calcasieu & Natchitoches Parishes in Louisiana. 9 - Do a Google search for information on the Neutral Strip area between Louisiana & Texas in early 1800 to about 1870.
