Hello, Lydia Britt b 1879, Robeson Co, NC, moved to Marion Co, SC by 1880 census was back in Robeson Co in 1924 for a deed transaction and was listed as Lydia Davis, widow. I don't know who she married or anything about her life after she left SC. Her parents were William Pinkney Britt b 1822-24 and Mary "Polly" Cox. She was the last child born to this couple. "Pink" and "Polly" continued to live in Marion Co and died there. There oldest son married and had one son who was my ex-husband's father. I started doing research on the Britt line when I found out my son, who is a Jr. was named after his great grandfather William Marshall Britt, called Marshall, oldest son of Pink and Polly. I have info on all of the children but three. Joseph disappeared between the 1880 and 1900 census so I do not know if he died or left Marion Co. Temperance, called Tempy, lived in Columbus Co, during two deed transactions, one in 1905 and another in 1924 but don't if she ever married or married a Britt. Someone in the family married an Ivey somewhere near Fairmont or Fair Bluff because the oldest brother-in-law remembers Ivey Aunts coming to visit when he was small.
