Ellen, My ancestor is Mary Margaret McGill, b. ca. 1809-1814 who married Thomas DAVIS, b. 1814. They settled in Robeson County on Horse Swamp near the present Iona Presbyterian Church west of Fairmont, NC. I have been unable to find parents for either of these two and wondered if your Mary Ann McGill who married Daniel McEachern could be a relative.
