Joyce, I think I have my Jernigan's down pretty well. I'm looking for my grandfather's first wife (not my grandmother), Mary Kate BALLARD JERNIGAN. My grandfather was James Franklin Jernigan born in Cumberland Co, and migrated to Washington Co., FL and on to Slocoomb, Geneva Co., AL. I don't know where Mary Kate was born. There is also a book named JERNIGAN REUNION by Lillian Jernigan Worley (the original) and a reprint (last year) of same by Kay Stone. I'm glad to know of the other book also. Thanks.
