Jeffrey, I have been to the court house and the local library in Lumberton. Most Gen libraries have all the courthouse information on microfilm. Robeson county is a pretty county and if I were you, I would get a map and visit all the little towns and look at the lay of the land. Red Springs is a nice little town. Flora McDonald college is there also. Stay away from 95 except to eat and sleep. Walk through downtown Lumberton and you can get a feel for the people and culture. Hope you enjoy your visit. If you have time, go up to Cross Creek(think that is Cumberland co though) and look around.
