Sorry there is no mention of an Edmund Brown on any of the information I have. The information I have starts with a paragraph that says this information came from the Brown Papers collection at the Perkins Library at Duke Univeresity. It tells a little about a Hugh Brown {brother of Ducan Brown listed on my web site.} that came to Cumberland County about 1745/6 from Clachan Seil, Isle of Seil, Scotland and later lived in Robeson County. He died in 1794 Oct of 1794. He was married twice and had children from both marriages. His second wife was Mary Buie from Jura, Scotland. Sorry it doesnt list any of their children.
