No children, but the 1850 Robeson Co. census says: h. 541, p. 349, Hector McLean, 42, O.S.P. Clergy, NC Susanna, 41, James Davis, 21, Preceptor, SC Florah Brown, 7, s John Brown, 6, s I'm curious as to who these children are... And based on her age of 41, I would guess that January is the correct month for Susanna's birth. Thanks, Jeffrey >> Morning Jeffrey, In the family book I have "A Sketch of the Decendents of Rev. Daniel Brown, John McLean and Neill McEachern" written by Janie Campbell McEachern October 1945 Susannah Browns birth date is written out as January 13, 1809. Looking in some other information a wonderful person on this list {Sorry I cant remember who it was} sent me I see John Graham Brown {born Nov 9 1844 died May 26 1918} and Flora Ann Brown {born October 16 1842 died Feb 20 1920}. They were the children of Dr Neill Brown {who was Susannahs brother} and Rebecca Graham. Neill died Dec 1849 and Rebecca died *Jan 10 1849 while giving birth to a son. It doesnt say why Neill died. They had 2 other children also. They were Sarah "Sallie" Brown {born 1840} and *Daniel B. Brown {born Jan 10 1848} I dont know what happened to Sara and Daniel. I see I need to change the statement that Sarah Jane was the only one to have children. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. Ellen in Fla
