    3. Could someone please explain why, when I replied to the **sender**, who was Debra DEW, and not the list, I received my reply back as trash? Debbie had asked for help on the 1850 census, which I sent to her as an attachment and which came back from the **list**as garbage. What happened to my reply to her? Lynn in Baltimore, MD

    3. Hi Lynn, Sounds like you also sent your reply to the list and attachments are not allowed on any of the lists. Whatever you sent to the list would have been returned to you because of the attachment. If you hit "Reply" and didn't ensure that Debra Dew was listed as an addressee, you may have inadvertently sent your reply solely to the list. If you've still got a copy of the message, check to see who it was addressed to. Hope this helps.
