    3. Hi Meredith, Here's a copy of one of my g-uncles WWI Draft Registration: On the Draft Registration Card it shows his name as Joseph Hook Snipes, age 40, address, 8 S. Harllee St., Florence, SC. He is medium height, medium build, brown eyes, red hair, his occupation is Yard Conductor for A.C.L (Atlantic Coast Line Railroad), and his wife is listed as Rosa Belle Snipes. For Preston Daniel Snipes I have the following note: "Most of the brothers worked for the Atlantic Coast Railroad out of Florence, SC. Joe was killed by a train. Bob worked for the Railroad and married Belle (Rosabelle) in Florence. Another uncle, Clyde Lemuel Snipes "Clyde worked as a train man for the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad until his health failed as a result of war service in France." (He served in WWI). If you can supply any additional information about this family I would appreciate it.
