    1. Re: [NCROBESO-L] ADAIR/MCTYER--- The Fairfields
    2. Hello Joanne. I have some info on the McTyer's 1790 forward, with most info after 1830. Mostly on William McTyer descendants. I have found several cousins scattered around the country. So the timeframe prior to 1800 is sketchy, that is until I uncovered the Harlee Kinfolk Books at the Charlotte Library. While I don't use any particular family research program, I can accept email/attachments. Most of my search has been in Marion, SC & Marlboro County. It wasn't until I read some of Harlee works that I was a little too far south, although the McTyer family did eventually reside there. I was wrong about the Fairfield's. This was James Adairs home at one time in what is now present day Greene County, NC. I am curious however about the location of the Ashpole Church in Robeson County s referenced on page 1238 in Harlee's Kinfolks. I would also like to purchase these books. Where can I find them? Thank you. Richard Harris Charlotte, NC
