    1. [NCROBESO-L] JACKSON LETTER CONT'D (page 2)
    2. Joanne hope this will tie to your Samuel. (letter cont'd) The first child Samuel born 1643 in census, was never mentioned again in any of the 3 books. My guess would be that he was the first to come south and they lost him. And I would also guess he was in the Spartanbury Co, SC area as we do have a Samuel in Spartanbury, SC who was a land surveyor as early as 1755. He made many deeds as required by law at that itme. He made them for $25,00 as long as he did not have to go over 25 miles from home. Andrew Jackson, Sr father of Pres. Andrew Jackson brought 6 or 8 other Jackson families with him when he came to the Waxhaw area. I am still studying this and I can not prove it is right bit I hope to sometime this year. Sincerely, PF Jackson Pearl had Jackson family who came on down to Coffee Co, Al. I sure hope this helps someone. Jeanette
