Bill, how do I find the family finder index? I am really new to genealogy so this may be a dumb question. Tammy, I am also looking for Rozier family members in Robeson County, NC. My great grandmother was Martha A. Rozier, b. 4 Mar 1837 and d. 26 Feb 1899. She was the daughter of Alfred Rozier, b. @ 1797 and married Nelly Drewry @ 23 Feb 1824 (date of license) in Robeson County. I do not have any other info on Alfred or Nelly and would appreciate any help. My mother said there was a Rueben Rozier who had been married twice and one of his wives was a Musselwhite. I cannot confirm this or how he ties in. Mother is gone and this was told me a long time ago but I got the impression that Reuben was a direct line grandfather. I wish I had written down all the things she told me or taped it. I wasn't into genealogy until after Christmas 1999. I have found a Reuben Rozier married to Helen Rice @ 22 Feb 1838 (license date); and also a Reuben Rozier married to Mary Ann Patterson @ 14 Jan 1852 (license date). I found a Shadrack Rozier married to Sarah Ann Musselwhite @ 11 Oct. 1823 (license date). All these in Robeson County, NC. I do not know how this relates and am trying to tie it in with Mother's info so long ago. I hope that this will help you. If you have any Rozier information I would love to have it. Thank you, Lois Moore
Ho Lois, The Family Finder Index is a list of people that have records on Family Tree Maker CDs. If you know someone who has Family Tree Maker software, they will have the Index. Otherwise, you can go to the FTM web page at www.familytreemaker.com and they have the index on-line. It will tell you which CDs to look at, but you still have to have access to the CDs. If you can't find the CD they site, go to: http://seidata.com/~lhoffman/cdlist.html There are folks here who will do lookups and send you the information. (They also have a link to the Index on this web page.) Good luck, Bill
