They were Daniel Brown, Duncan Brown, Malcolm McNair, Murdock McMillan, and Murdock Murphy. Brown was licensed by Orange Presbytery at Barbecue Church in 1800 and the other four at the same place in 1801." >> Thank you very much for this information. The Rev Daniel Brown is my 4x great grandfather. His daughter, Sara Jane Brown, married Archie McLean whoes family was also from Raft Swamp. John McLean, Archies father, settled on land granted by King George, on the Raft Swamp, near where Antioch Church now stands. I have information on the decendents of Sarah Jane Brown and Archie McLean and Rev Daniel Browns parents. But I have very little information on Archies parents John and Margert {McLean no kin} McLean. I have that John McLeans mother was a Camron {but no names} and his father was Chief Donald McLean of the McLean clan. Also I know his sister was Effie McLean. Here is my web site with my Browns and McLean lines. http://members.aol.com/TueTweety/TueTweetysfamily.html Ellen in Fla
