    3. Debra, Thank you very much for your reply and all the information on James B. Sealy/Sealey and Mary Etta/Marietta Walters. When I realized James had a son named James Arren, it should have been obvious to me that the child was probably named after Arren Walters. I did not find a census with Marietta listed in the Arren Walters' household, so I decided she was probably the daughter of another Walters family. James B. was the son of Moore T. Sealy who was a brother of Nancy Caroline Sealy - the wife of Arren Walters. Therefore, Marietta and James B. were first cousins. That is new information for me. I believe I saw something in the library at Lumberton where someone left 40 acres of land to James B. Sealy in their will. I wondered why. Maybe it was Arren Walters. That would be understandable. I really appreciate your help! 3. Wanda your ancestor could be in an unmarked grave at the church. The church may have a church warden/sexton who keeps track of the burials in the cemetery, and that person could provide a listing of the internments and the locations of the burials. Show up for services on a Sunday and speak to the minister and I am sure that person could point you in the correct direction. Also some of the larger congregations may even have a historian who might be able to help with membership records. Deborah Byrd

    1. [NCROBESO] barnesville/fairmont/orrum question
    2. wanda miller
    3. I hope someone can help me figure this out. I was told my great grandparents are buried at bethesda methodist church. I know they lived in the orrum area. I checked the cemetery at bethesda methodist church in fairmont and there was no one with that last name there. I have just obtained a photocopy of my great grandfather's death certificate and it says he was buried in barnesville cemetery in barnesville. I went there and found his son, but not him. an elderly relative told me my ggf was actually buried at "the church" - he said it was bethesda methodist church and it was right next to the cemetery at barnesville. Is there also a bethesda methodist church in barnesville? --------------------------------- Park yourself in front of a world of choices in alternative vehicles. Visit the Yahoo! Auto Green Center.

I would be interested in talking to anyone from this line. Archibald McCrimmon (1746-1842) Neill McRimmon (1797-1862) John Hartman (1808-1860) James C. Hartman (1842-1918) Thanks. Susan

    2. Hi, I have updated my family tree website adding lots of photos and new information. I have ancestors in Autauga, Bibb, Chilton, Tuscaloosa and Talledega counties in Alabama; and Bladen and Robeson counties in North Carolina. My major family lines are shown in the subject line. FYI I use the Master Genealogist 6.0 as my genealogy database and Second Site 2.0 to create the website. There are links at the bottom of the home page if you are interested in either program. I have no connection to either company, just a satisfied customer. The website address is: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~opus/index.htm Let me know if you find a connection. John John K. 3. Hi JK, all the new updates look great. I see you have some Ball info. I've got Balls on my side too. Who knows we may match on other lines as well. Nothing new here unfortunately. Still digging, but working on some other lines as I get breaks. Went to Clayton Library last week and looked at Bladen wills 1734-1900. Copied all the Thomas Brown and a stack of others and created a PAF file just based on the wills. So far all seem to connect to Gen Thomas or Hugh one way or another. I haven't gotten Hugh's yet. Need to go back and get the rest of the ones in the Bladen book, just to see who not to bother chasing down it looks like. Didn't find much else. Never made it up to see the special collections on film there. And haven't started on Robeson Co. Maybe next week, going to Dallas to see grandkids tomorrow. I assume you have already looked at all the Bladen wills in that book. I can send anything you want. Or can send the ged.com of these wills once I get the rest of them as I am copying each will into each person's notes. Let me know.
