I am new to this list. My interest are in Rains/Raines and families attached to them such as Duncan, Alred, Graham and others. My family was in the Dry Creek area and were in the area when still Guildford Co., about 1770 and around 1800 family was migrating to Warren Co. TN and some had spent a short time in Greenville Dist. SC. Can anybody give me a history on the establishment of Rains, SC David Raines
