My 3rd G Grandmother was Jane A. Lowe born 1854. She married Emmitt M. Cheek 4/13/1876 in Wilkes Co.N.Carolina in the Home of Rebecca Lowe. Does anyone know who Jane's parents were? I found a Rebecca Lowe in Randolph Co. with the following: LOWE REBECCA 50 F W NC NC RANDOLPH ASHBORO TWP Series: M593 Roll: 1156 Page: 280 Rebecca is age 50 with Nevius M. 22, Abigail S. 19, and Samuel H. age 16. Jane is not listed in the index. The only LOWE listed in Wilkes Co. is John C. WILKES, age 22, b. VA. This was sent by a volunteer. Any information would be most appreciated!! Also, there was a J. C. Tina, There were more Lowes in Surry Co., NC and Grayson Co., VA than in Wilkes Co. Several by the name of Samuel..I will keep an eye out for them.
