    1. Re: [NCRANDOL] Obama's CLARK connection
    2. Hi Nola: Thanks for understanding. I have so much trouble - as I'm sure a lot of genealogists do - with info being posted on the internet that is not true. I just want to head off any future problems by making sure this is documented before anything is posted. That way I won't have folks contacting me insisting it must be true because it is on the internet - and you know ONLY true stuff gets posted just like ONLY true stuff gets published in books. No one ever writes a book with mistakes in it. Never happened - never will. The Allred Family Organization is still getting queries about a research report published in a book back in the 1960's - and now copied and posted all over the internet - that claimed the Allreds of Randolph County descend from the Aldridge family of Northumberland County, VA. This was proven false several years ago - but people will argue with us insisting it is correct because it was in a book or they saw it on the internet. It gets tiring sometimes. The info posted on Senator Obama with reference to the Allred family looks correct at first glance, but I will feel better after documenting it before publishing anything. I appreciate your help with this. And you certainly are not stepping on any toes!!!!! Please don't ever think that. I'm just paranoid about putting something "out there" before documenting it. It is just fussy ole me.
