I also am searching for Smith family of Randolph Co. originally from Germany. Jacob smith was b. 29 Oct 1782 but not sure where. He married Susannah Spoon b.25 Sep 1789 on 09 Jun 1807 in Randolph Co. Jacob Smith had a German Bible (Bible was a "Martin Luther" Bible. It contained pictures of Martin Luther and his wife and also of his parents. The Smith Bible was dated 1522 and was printed in the German language. ) Also names of Coble, Reitzel, Spoon, and others are somehow mixed... love to hear from you.
