I am seeking information on a Samuel Clark, Sr. of Randolph County, NC, who had seven sons: Samuel Jr., George, Thomas, Edward, William, Joseph , and John. Samuel Sr.'s son William was the father of Dougan Clark, born in 1783 and married to Nancy Welborn, dt. of John and Jane "Jean" Welborn. I have that Samuel Sr.'s son Joseph was married to Nancy Merrill, dt. of Benjamin Merrill. I want to know if my information is correct and the name of Samuel Clark Sr.'s wife.
