All the Hoovers (Huber) in Piedmont NC are descendants of imigrant Andrew Hoover who lived on the Uwharrie River in NW Randolph Co. The Hoovers were from Oberkulm, Switzerland. I have several generations back in Europe. Pres. Hoover is from this line.
