I am a member of DAR and Anthony Raines was an ancestor that I proved in Jan. of 2000. He is in my line through his daughter Hannah. What the DAR accepted as my proof was that Anthony was born 1757 in Caroline Co. Va. and Nancy Graham was born 10 July 1760. She lived in Perry Co. Texas and died there after October 1840. Anthony and Nancy were married on March 2, 1787. Hannah Rained, dtr. was born 1798 in Randolph Co., N.C. and died there in 1806/07. On the children of Anthony, John Raines b. Dec 8, 1787, Isaac Raines b. 1788 , Elizabeth Raines b. 1789, Rebekah Raines b. 1792, Jean Raines b. 1794, Mary Raines b. 1796, Hannah Raines b. 1798 and married my relative Charles Steed b. 1784/86, Baalam raines b. 1801 and William b. 1807.
