Farmer of North Carolina. The last record I can find of him is the 1836 marriage record in Henry Co., GA. I can not find him in the 1820, 1830, & 1840 GA Census. 1850-1880 I have found him in. However, in Gwinnett County, GA there are two James Farmers and one John Farmer in Gwinnett Co., GA in the 1820 Census. It looks as though the older James Farmer may have been the father of the younger James and the John Farmer. There are two young males in the correct age bracket (10-15 yrs. old)living with the older James Farmer, and one of them could have been my Ira E. Farmer. I belive this older James to be the James Farmer, R.S., that drew land in Troup County, GA in the 1827 GA Land Lottery while living in Henry County, GA. Do any of the above Farmer names or information sound like it belongs to your Farmer research? Any and all help will be appreciated. Thanks, TJ
