Oct 1854 m. 24y with wife Marth[a] R., b. May 1861 with 7 ch 7 living. Children are: Thomas R., b. May 1880 age 20y; Jennie A., b. June 1885 age 14; Hallie H., son, b. Feb 1890 age 10y; Sirona E., b. Aug 1892 age 7y; Effie M. b. Nov 1894 age 4y; and William F. Aug 1898 age 1y. You might not believe it, but yesterday I was searching some of the old local newspapers for a lady and I saw where "China" Croker had died as a result of injuries sustained in a car accident! I dont' remember exactly which newspaper it was in for I looke at several years. Don't know how my father knew him, but he did as I recall hearing him speak of "China" Croker. Small world.
