He was born Feb. 26, 1745, christened April 14, 1745 in Berkley, Mass. died July 11, 1824 in Randolph Co. Zebedee was a local lawyer and a town commissioner. Also servedin the House of Commons for three terms, 1786, 1788, and 1789 and two terms two terms in the NC senate, 1791 and 1792.. Zebedee was a man of prominence in the county, his name shows up in local historical society papers as: Zebedee Woods Esq. Married Mary Carson DOB abt 1749. His son Zebedee married Mary Low and moved to Coalfield, Tn (Morgan CO). The fouth generation now lives on the land he bought there. Have more info and photos, please email me if interested
