(Haman Miller appears as a witness on many bonds) It appears that Haman and Jesse Miller were brothers descended from a long line of Haman Millers. Several AWT trees have information on the Haman Miller line. Most interesting seems to be one posted by Ralph Raleigh tracing the family to a Johann Frederick Mueller who migrated from Germany in 1738 -- there are some excellent notes there. For the Ridge family (Abcilla's mother), there are also several trees. It appears that Godfrey Ridge seen in the 1790 census is the first of the family in Randolph County. The Ridge family seems to have come from England to Virginia to North Carolina, though I didn't see any really good notes for Godfrey's ancestry.
