Jane, Do you have any earlier information on the YORK family? My gr-gr-gr-gr-grandgmother was Sarah YORK, who was born Feb. 7, 1790, in North Carolina. She was married to a Samuel ALLDREDGE (ALDRIDGE, etc.), who also was born Feb. 13, 1790, in North Carolina, probably in Randolph County. They both died in Posey County, Ind.
