There is a new site dedicated to all military service men from North Carolina in any war. They have just started a great new page for the Civil War at: http://www.rootsweb.com/~ncmil/chancmay1863.htm I also host the Granville Co. page and a researcher found a rare little book in South Carolina that he was kind enough to share. He sent me the book which I am scanning to put online. The book had no interest for him but he was thoughtful enough to know that someone else might benefit and sent it to me. It will be donated to the library once I have it scanned. If you happen to have anyone who served during WWI from the Granville area, his photo may be in the book.
