Mr. Mabe was born April 11th, 1982 in Guilford County, a son to Donald Roy and Teresa Love Mabe. He was a resident of this area all his life, worked at Sun Master Awning and was a member of New Covenant Lutheran Church. He was preceded in death by his father, maternal grandfather; Wade Love, paternal grandfather; Roy Mabe and uncle Gaylon Love. Surviving is his mother of Archdale; his son, Alexander Jason Mabe; one sister, Gina Mabe McDowell and husband Jonathan of Thomasville; maternal grandmother, Sue Love of Archdale and paternal grandmother, Beulah Mabe of Archdale. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of the Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale with Pastor Linda Faltin officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at 4013 Knollwood Dr. in Archdale. Pallbearers will be Justin Christian, Chris Roberts, Gary Poole, Skip Alexander, Anthony Craft, Paul Griffen and Micah Owens. Memorials may be directed to the recovery effort of the family c/o New Covenant Lutheran Church P.O. Box 4026 Archdale NC 27263.
