    3. I can tell the answer re the birth records. North Carolina only began recording birth records in 1913. There are a few "belated" birth records on file but these are usually because someone needed one later in life to join the service or get SS, etc. so there are none that would reach back to the early 1800s. As for the marriage record, I will check the marriage bonds and see and get back to you. I am starting on marriage bonds now but it will take me some time to transcribe them from the old microfiche but I can look this up and will let you know.
