Good day everyone! I visited the Asheboro Antique Mall today in Randolph County, NC, and found three pictures of individuals that I know lived in the Randolph/Montgomery/Guilford counties. It bothered me so badly to see that they may be sold and never found, that I had to purchase them. I will donate them to the library someday since they are not my direct ancestors, but want to take the time to let anyone interested know that I will be more than happy to share a copy via email. First picture: front - Man with light brown hair "Cawthing Pensacola, Fld." back - "Mr. Dewitt Baldwin, Mt. Giliad, N. C." Second picture: front - Young man with dark hair and eyes "Thomas & Hobgood, Durham, N.C." back - "R. B. Scarboro" Third picture: front - Lady in her 50s with hair pulled back and light eyes "Jones, Mantello Photos, High Point N.C." back - "Mrs. Pricilla Tyson Blair of high Point N.C." Please feel free to respond to this email or email me directly at ccooper6@triad.rr.com Best regards, Crystal Eaton Cooper LISTEN TO JOHNNY CASH http://worldconnect.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?includedb=cooped
Crystal, If these are older photos, I would love to have them to post on he Randolph Co. GenWeb site. For those without names, I can post them on an "unknown" page in case they might be recognized by others. I also manage the Dinwiddie Co., Virginia site and I recently bought pictures off of e-Bay for the same reason. Don't have them online yet but they were cheap and I simply wanted to save them for the family. Thanks for sharing.
