    3. I am trying to find the parents of Thomas Jefferson Wren/Wrenn b 24 December 1832/1833 d. 11 November 1905. He married Mary F. Ryder 3 February 1859 in Guilford County. He was born in the Pleasant Grove community of Randolph County, NC. He owned a farm in the Brower Community in 1900. On that census he and Mary appeared to be living alone, Does anyone know the name of the Methodist Church that owns the cemetery located on Hwy. 22 near Ramseur? I know that Thomas and Mary as well as several of their children are buried in that cemetery. I was hoping that the Church might have a listing of the grave markers in that cemetery and I might find the name of Thomas' parents if they are buried there. Thank you, Dee Mothers---Give your children these two things, one is Roots, the other is wings.----------unknown --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! 3. Dee, that would be the Franklinville United Methodist Church. They put out a Sesquicentennial Book a few years back and I used that to add to what I read. You can view it in the Randolph Room at the Randolph Library. I believe Mack WHATLEY, a lawyer in town, was on that committee. Rocky River cemetery had many WRENN in it and that cemetery was listed in the Liberty/Providence book. Might try Alamance or Chatham 1850 census to see which WRENN lived there. Rocky River is just inside Chatham line now.
