Dated Oct. 8, 1866 from Randolph County, North Carolina (the document originally was printed for Guilford County, but “Guilford” was crossed out and “Randolph” was written beside it). I believe that this was a warrant for ISAAC SPENCER, who was to appear before a Justice of the Peace to answer the complaint of D. HENDERSON for the non-payment of five dollars which was due in October. Signed P. ARNOLD, J.P. The back (which is hard to read) says it was executed Oct 12th, ’66, F. Rush, Shff, P. Arnold, [D.Shff?], Oct 13th, 1866, Satisfied in full by $1.39. Judgment Oct 13th, 1866 was for $1.39 and the Former Cost was $.40. I don't know anything more about the people mentioned.
