During your BAILEY research have you came across a Bethany Bailey born abt 1758? Supposedly she was the daughter of William Bailey of Spotsylvania County, Va. She married James Fielding Arnold, they lived in Randolph County, NC in 1790 & 1800. Their children was Augusta B. Arnold, Jesse H. Arnold, James Bailey Arnold, Elijah Bailey Arnold, Fielding W. Arnold and I have the daughter as Malinda Arnold. Some of her children named their children, Elijah, Jesse, William, Malinda, Francis, etc. The names are just so similar that it makes me think my Bethany is kin to your John somehow. Bethany moved to Morgan County, Ga with her husband and children abt 1810. If you come across this Bethany or have this Bethany in your line please help me. Thanks, Sandy
