Bonnie - I don't descend from the LAMBs, but I have a lot of LAMBs in my family files, as they married in to so many of my own descendancy families. I found a John W Lamb born in TN, but I don't know what age yours is. Let us know. I am not sure why there are 2 Johns as sons here, but I received part of this from someone else. (PS: the majority of the PRESSLEYS in TN were actually PRESNELLs.) This is where I got both of the Johns:Information on Lamb family: http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Plains/6532/surnames.html, Info from Annual Lamb Family Reunion, Asheville NC. By any chance has either one of you run across a WINGBUSH in your LAMB data??? I have been searching for a John Wingbush Lamb whom I believe was born in AL or GA but unfortunately I cannot find a connection to LAMBs there. I know he died in the late 1800's in TX but cannot find a clue as to who his parents were. Would appreciate any help. Bonnie >>
The tombstone picture is old and has moss on it but I believe his birth year to be 1838 and he died in 1888 in TX. I have no idea where to look for this John Lamb. I thought if I could find anyone else with the name WINGBUSH, it would give me a clue. I had never heard of that name before. If anyone ever connects a WINGBUSH and a LAMB together please let me know. I do appreciate all your help and reply. Bonnie

Possibly. I will have to check this name out. Have you seen this name connected to any LAMBs? Bonnie > Could WINGBUSH possibly be a variant of WIMBISH? > > > -- > Elizabeth Harris > [email protected]
