I am researching some Staleys and Needhams that are supposed to be buried there. I went to the Mt. Olivet Methodist Church cememtery today and was able to find some of them but figured there must be an older cemetery for this church somewhere else... Old Mt. Olivet Methodist Church. This cemetery marks the site of the old Mt. Olivet Methodist Church and is very old. Located near Erect in the south-eastern section of Randolph County and off County Road #1002, by the side of an old road. There are many graves marked with field stones and many unmarked graves. This listing would be about one half of the burials. Copied 1969 by Barbara Newson Grigg. I found the under NEEDHAM 1. Emma 4 Aug 1865-20 Feb 1946 2. Albert M. 23 Feb 1888-29 June 1906 3.
