I am descended from another Tadlock family branch and am wondering whether we are connected. I'm interested in your sources for the information about Joseph Tadlock. Do you have any idea who his parents were? And what kind of a name is Pantha? I found Joseph Tadlock listed right above Lingum Burkhead on the 1840 census for Randolph County; I assume that he was Pantha's father. I'm not familiar with the name Lingum either!
