Those in the area that are working on Randolph Co., NC, I am looking for more detail on the Major John Rains and Captain George Rains that were identified as brothers and mentioned in the Fanning Narratives. This would mean they where likely loyalist and I am trying to see if they are the brothers of Anthony Rains and as much detail has can be found on these two. Thanks for any help. David E. Raines
