I had not seen your May 17 comment. I found Skycrest Counrty Rd on google map just a few minutes ago and do see where it turns off Mack Rd ASHEBORO, then ends along RT 220 Bypass. When we go back up to the area (in the next few weeks), we will explore that road. IF we don't see the Lewallen Cemetery, we'll look for an older person living along there and ask about it. Per the last post, we asked two older folks along Mack Rd, and they had never heard of a Lewallen Cemetery in the area. Sounds like even if we find it, there will be no headstones, etc. We were looking for William Lewallen, who reportedly is buried there. Thanks. I'll get back (here) when we can check it out.
