This is the right Marmaduke WIlliams and I am trying to locate info. on his daughter Laura Ann WIlliams, who married James Madison Cranford. James died in July 1862 and the estate was filed in Oct. 1862 in both Randolph and Montgomery Counties,NC. I never found how or where he died although I feel he was killed in the Civil War. Had found Laura Ann living in the Asheboro,NC area with her son, Joel Griffin Williams but don't know when or where she died and was buried. Richard
