The adm bond and sale was Aug 1800, settled 1803, widow's share and orphan's share. Benjamin Wms was appointed guardian for Lydia, orphan. I believe Lydia married John Cox and moved to Hocking County, Ohio. In 1795, John Gardner sells 250 acres on Richland Creek and Deep River to Benjamin, then Benjamin deeds to Jeremiah in 1800, then in 1822, John and Lydia Cox of Hocking Co, Ohio, sell 250 acres to Benjamin. So I am guessing that Benjamin gave Lydia the land, maybe that's why she isn't mentioned in the will. Then she sold it back after she went to Ohio? Hope this helps. Can I inquire who your Gardner line is through? I have some of those mixed in, too.
